Oh Cherry Oh....

I bought the fabric in May for this Oh Cherry Oh table topper project. I'm just now finding time to work on it. I saw the project at ModaBakeshop.com and absolutely fell in love with it. I had to search quite a bit to get the "Oh Cherry Oh" moda fabric. I'm so excited to finally be started on this. It's a new year of projects! Don't forget to drop by Brandie's to sign up for today's giveaway!

Thanksgiving

Bailey loves his Uncle Clint...and the feelings are mutual...

The Cracker Challenge... each person is given 10 saltine crackers with nothing to drink. The object is to be first to eat all 10 crackers in 2 minutes. Alexis and Trevor are the two brave souls that Julie talked into doing this...

Lots of fun, but neither of them finished the task. Now who wants to go for the cinnamon challenge. Hum, I believe it will be Clint and Trevor...

The Cinnamon Challenge - (first let me say, you should definitely do this challenge outside) - each person puts 1 tsp. ground cinnamon in his mouth and "tries" to swallow it. Sound easy enough? ha Here we go...both put the cinnamon in their mouth...

and try to keep it in their mouths...

Clint spit his out first...YUCK!

Then Trevor...you can actually see the PUFF of cinnamon in the air!

both trying to rinse and spit it all away! We all laughed till we hurt.

Meals On Wheels Fundraiser

Be sure to go by Farmer's Market Halloween morning to vote for Coy's scarecrow! For a small donation to meals on wheels you can place your vote for the best scarecrow to help this worthy cause! Voting ends at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 31. NOW GET OUT THERE AND VOTE!

Scarecrow in the making...

We'll get it right...we promise...it just takes some tweaking! We'll have him looking like our minister Coy Hathcock in no time (well, sort of)! We will show you the finished product later today after we move him to the Farmer's Market. The Farmer's Market is having a fundraiser for Meals on Wheels. Various local folks were asked to make a scarecrow to enter. Visitors to the Farmer's Market Saturday may vote for their favorite scarecrow for a donation to Meals on Wheels. What a fabulous idea. Be sure to go vote for Coy Saturday morning. The contest ends at 11:30 a.m. and we need to raise lots of money for Meals on Wheels!

Dreaming...

Going to sleep to dream of finishing those other two tea towels. Goodnight.

My Version

My little version of a tea towel a friend bought at a very nice store. You know me, I decided to try to make my own. Actually there was a set of three. It has taken me so long to hand embroider this one, who knows when I will finish the other two ;-) Now I know why they were so pricey!

Monday Night Monogramming

It was a monogramming night last night! These pillow cases are the softest ever. I have GOT to have some of these for myself! These are for Derek and Jeannine's upcoming bridal shower. I hope they like them...
The hand embroidered cupcake tea towel is for Brooke and Chris' shower Saturday. The name is machine embroidered. I hope they like it!
Pam England ordered the monogram on the apron below. Most new brides love to receive things with their new initials on it. Thanks for the order Pam!
