Good times...

Terry had some family in recently and we spent some time visiting. We had a wonderful visit with them but it just didn't last long enough. It was sad so see Mimi head back to Arizona, Judy and Michael to Nashville and Christy and Andy back to South Carolina. :-( We will all be back together in December for the wedding of Judy and Michael! Can't wait to see everyone again. Here's some pictures of our time together. We were trying not to smile and it turned out sort of crazy, but it was fun. Actually we did make a group photo with us smiling and the file was corruped and didn't take. Go figure.

I finally got around to making a cushion for our porch swing. I'm lovin' it! What do you think? Maybe some throw pillows to go with it?

To this refreshing color...I love me some aqua Rustoleum spray paint! I'm pretty sure this is my favorite color. It has taken me months to find paint in the color I wanted. Isn't it amazing what a $4.99 can of paint can do?

More homemade bread baked last night. The smell of bread baking makes our home feel so cozy. It makes me feel like I'm doing something special for my family. One batch makes three loaves - but they don't last long. All I have to do it sit the butter nearby and the bread just disappears...

I think I could pack up and move to the area where we found this bridge. (If I could take my family) I absolutely loved the drive we took. A very different change of pace. Life seems a little slower there.
