The Antique Quilt Show at the Warren County Fair was something to see as usual. The ladies that organize the display do such a wonderful job. I don't have all their names, but Lena Jones and Reba Jo Newby are two that devote much of their free time to this event. Be sure to watch BLTV channel 6 to see what was filmed about the quilt show. Mrs. Lena always does a fabulous job explaining all the different entries! I don't know how she remembers all that information, I sure couldn't! Thanks ladies for all you do to bring us this quilt show each year!

Hi Patty,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the beautiful quilts - I have always admired laides like you that have a gift for sewing.
To answer your questions about what type paint I use - I paint with acrylics - they are very easy to use and clean up with water - if you make a mistake you can just wash it off with a little water. Oils are toxic and take weeks to dry. I would recommend acrylics any day over oils.
Have a lovely day. P.S. The pillowcase dress is adorable.
Blessings,
Erin
